A New Test Protocol
For this first crash-test session 2020, the test protocol has been reworked to put in place new new processes and use new vehicles tests. This means that the results and grades obtained this year are not directly comparable with those of the previous year. comparable to those of previous years. Although the Chicco is a little more complicated because of the many comfort features that add up, the Mifold Hifold presented a greater risk of injury in the event of a side impact. Overall, both models achieve their objectives for a occasional use (carpooling, holidays, travel). Their final score was "satisfactory in the crash test.
Car seats to avoid in crash tests
Certain models of car seat tested failed to convince both in terms of safety that operating costs. Two models in particular should be avoided. These are Osann Flux Plusa booster seat for children from 9 to 36 kg (9 months to approx. 12 years), which includes an increased risk of injury in the event of a head-on collision and a lack of stability in the vehicle. NUNA PIPA NEXT
