Joie i-Spin Grow

The Joie i-Spin Grow is a versatile car seat designed for children from 40 to 125 cm, i.e. from birth to around 7 years of age. It can be used in rear-facing mode from 40 to 105 cm (up to 18.5 kg), ensuring greater safety for the smallest children, then transformed into a rear-facing booster seat from 100 to 125 cm (up to 25 kg) for older children.

How to install and remove the Joie i Spin car seat

For children from birth to 105 cm (approx. 4 years), we recommend using the car seat in the rear-facing position for as long as possible. With the exception of the Joie i Spin Safe, Joie i Spin car seats can be used in the forward-facing position from the age of 15 months (approx. 76 cm). Before the age of 15 months, the Smart Ride lock on the front must be set to rear-facing mode.

Installing the Joie i Spin car seat

1. Preparation

   • Unfold the seat strut.
   • Extend the ISOFIX connectors.

2. Mounting with ISOFIX

   • Align the ISOFIX connectors with the car's ISOFIX anchorage points.
   • Click until the connectors engage and the ISOFIX indicators turn green.

3. Securing the car seat

   • Pull on the ISOFIX connectors to check that they are secure.
   • Push the seat against the backrest of the vehicle for optimum adjustment.
   • Make sure the strut indicator is green.

4. Installation of the Child

   • Loosen the harness by pulling on the shoulder straps.
   • Position the child, adjust the shoulder straps and headrest.
   • Tighten the harness to ensure a snug fit.

Removing the Joie i-Spin Car Seat

To remove the car seat from your vehicle, follow these steps:

1. ISOFIX system disengagement

   • Press the ISOFIX connector release button on the car seat.
   • Gently pull the ISOFIX connectors out of the car's anchorage points.

2. Removing the Strut or Top Tether

   • Unlock the strut and fold it in.
   • If your model is fitted with a Top Tether, detach it from the vehicle anchorage point.
   • Make sure that all the moving parts of the car seat, including the ISOFIX arms, are in the folded position for easy removal.

3. Removing the car seat from the car

   • Lift the car seat, taking care not to damage the isofix base or the interior of the car.
