In order to increase child safety<\/strong> by car, ADAC and TCS regularly test new car seat models<\/a>. The crash tests<\/strong> are carried out, twice a year<\/strong>and are jointly produced by various European bodies<\/strong>. For this session of crash tests in May 2019<\/strong>, 24 child car seats<\/strong> have been tested for safety, operation, ergonomics and pollutant content. These models include, four of them<\/strong> were tested with a connected alarm system<\/strong> (sold separately) designed to prevent children being left alone in the car. The winner of this test session was the B\u00e9b\u00e9 Confort Jade + 3wayFix<\/strong> scores \"very good<\/strong>. He was convincing in every category. In contrast, the Chicco Oasys i-Size<\/strong> and the B\u00e9b\u00e9 Confort TobiFix<\/strong> are the only two models<\/strong> to have been judged \"insufficient<\/strong>. The experts also noted that the average price of seats was rising overall. However, at the same time, some top-rated models such as the Nania Be One SP<\/a> or the Britax R\u00f6mer Adventure<\/strong> can be obtained for less than 100 euros<\/strong>. This shows that price and quality are not necessarily linked.<\/p>\n
