This year, as every spring, ADAC, TCS and their European partners tested 26 car seat models<\/strong> belonging to different weight and size classes<\/strong> in order to assess them in terms of security<\/strong>of operation<\/strong>, ergonomics <\/strong>and pollutant content<\/strong>. In recent years, pollutant levels have often led to the devaluation of certain car seats. This year, however, crash test results for car seats<\/a> are encouraging, since no model was rated as \"insufficient\" on this criterion. The Silver Cross Dream + Base Dream i-Size<\/strong>a baby cosy<\/a> suitable for a child from birth to 85 cm<\/strong> (up to around 15 months), is the only one to achieve a final score of \"very good<\/strong>. He came first in this test session. Visit Chicco Fold & Go i-Size<\/strong> and the Mifold Hifold Fit and Fold Booster<\/strong>two folding car seats<\/strong> were also tested and evaluated.<\/p>\n

            <\/span>A New Test Protocol<\/span><\/h2>\n

            For this first crash-test session<\/strong> 2020, the test protocol<\/strong> has been reworked to put in place new new processes<\/strong> and use new vehicles<\/strong> tests. This means that the results and grades obtained this year are not directly comparable with those of the previous year. comparable to those of previous years<\/strong>. The results obtained for this session are encouraging<\/strong> since more than two-thirds of the models tested<\/strong> have obtained \"good<\/strong> see \"very good<\/strong> results and no car seat<\/a> failed to the side impact test<\/strong>. As a reminder, the tests carried out by ADAC<\/strong> and the TCS<\/strong> go far beyond minimum legal requirements<\/strong> recommended by European regulations R44\/04 and R129 (i-Size)<\/a>. <\/p>\n
